Sixth Form Conference
Thursday 7th March 2013
The recent Sixth Form visit to the ‘Doing God’ Conference at Westminster Abbey was high successful.
The day began with a debate between Lucy Winkett, priest, and Andrew Copson, the director of the National Humanist Society, and the girls attended workshops on Doing God in politics, ethics, art, music, finance, the Abbey, the Bible, and Not Doing God.
The opening session, Dialogue/Buzz Groups and Discussion was well done and stirred us into what followed. A wonderful experience for all. The group, a core of Chapel Group members, were a joy to be with, enthusiastic to learn and participate and U6 student reported back to the school from the music and art workshops.
