Sixth Form Art students visit to the University of Warwick

Friday 23rd November 2018

On 12 November, all of the Sixth Form A Level Art students attended a series of lectures, led by contemporary artists, that was held at the University of Warwick.

In this visually stimulating programme, students met and learned from four leading artists working in different areas, about what inspires them and how they make their living as artists.

The four artists that took part were: Anna Glover (textiles artist), Simon Norfolk (photographer), Luke Jerram and the printmaker Chris Orr. All of the work that we saw was very inspirational, especially that by Luke Jerram who is currently exhibiting a piece called Museum of Moon which has received much critical praise.

We also met up with Cindy He who left Queen Anne’s last year and is now studying Art History at Warwick. It was great to see her and hear about her achievements!
