Progress Dance Showcase

Wednesday 13th November 2019

40 girls took the stage floor on Friday 8 November in the termly Progress Dance Showcase.

A collection of work from tap, modern and jazz was displayed with a variety of levels from grade 3 right up to advanced 2! Most of the girls performing their work will be taking examinations in the ISTD modern, tap or jazz at the end of this term.

The U6 A Level dance girls performed their solos for the first time and also created a piece inspired from Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s Zero Degrees the day before to be performed at the showcase.

Twilight Dance Company performed for the first time part of a dance they will be performing at the O2 at the end of this month for the dance competition ‘Chance 2 Dance’.

Well done to all the students who performed! Thank you to all who attended to support our dancers: performing in front of an audience is invaluable to their dance experience.
