Mr Blunt's Extreme Walking Challenge

Wednesday 29th April 2015

As part of the school’s Afghanistan Challenge this week, Mr Gary Blunt, Wilkins Housemaster, has taken on an incredible challenge in order to boost our miles. From 9.00pm tonight (Wednesday 29 April) come rain, shine, wind or cold, Mr Blunt will be taking to the field and walking for a whole 24hrs.

Pupils are encouraged to show their support by walking a lap with him, feeding him and generally keeping his spirits up!

To add a bit of fun to the event, pupils and parents are encouraged to enter our competition and guess how many steps (or paces) Mr Blunt will take during the 24 hour period. Will it be in the 1,000’s or the 10,000’s…spend a bit of time and try to work it out! The winner will be announced during the closing ceremony on Friday 1 May at 3.30pm.
