Maddock House Collect 50 Eggs to be Donated to Local Reading Families

Friday 31st March 2017

Over the last few weeks, the girls of Maddock House have been collecting Easter Eggs in aid of Reading’s local foodbank, ‘Readifood.’

Yesterday the Head and Deputy Head of House, Lottie and Lotties, handed over the eggs to Alison from Readifood. They collected an excellent 50 eggs in total and these will be donated to local Reading families who are in need over the Easter period.

ReadiFood is an independent Food Bank, working on behalf of the Churches of Reading, who provide food to those who are in severe need in the Reading area. They currently deliver more than 120 Emergency parcels every week to families and individuals.

A really worthwhile cause and an outstanding effort by Maddock House. Congratulations girls!
