A Level Art Students from Kendrick Join Queen Anne’s Life Drawing Classes
Wednesday 4th October 2017
Sixth Form students from Kendrick School in Reading have been joining Queen Anne’s students for life drawing classes.
The girls from this Reading grammar school have already reaped the benefits from these sessions and the work they produce goes towards their A Level portfolio.
Life Drawing is not currently available at Kendrick so the link made by each school’s Head of Art has enabled this collaboration to take place. Sarah Beales, Head of Art at Queen Anne’s, says,
‘It is fantastic to see girls from Kendrick share our weekly Life Drawing classes. This is an area of the A Level curriculum that can be difficult to fit into a school’s timetable and luckily at Queen Anne’s we have the space to include students from other schools’.
Life Drawing classes run from 4.30-6.00pm every Monday throughout the school year.
