Lacrosse Success Stories

This term, the school is celebrating a number of lacrosse success stories involving teaching staff and pupils.

Miss Rachael O'Brien

Congratulations to Miss Rachael O’Brien, Teacher of Lacrosse, who has been selected to coach the U19 South West England Lacrosse team. After applying for the position a few months ago, Miss O’Brien has recently received the news that she has been successful and her first responsibilities have included selecting girls to go through to the South West trials. Miss O’Brien will be heavily involved with the South West England selection process, coaching and umpiring.

The Lacrosse department are also celebrating the news that a total of 26 pupils have been selected to join the Berkshire County Lacrosse Teams, marking a great start to this academic year. Congratulations to all our pupils who have been successful.

It has also been officially announced that, as of yesterday, the U19 South West England Team was officially confirmed and 4 Queen Anne’s girls have been selected. Congratulations to Alex Crowther, U6, and Gabriella Austin, L6 who will join the the A Team and Ella McNeil, L6, and Caitlin Patrick, U6, who will join the B Team.
