Digital Skills and Computer Science Award for Queen Anne’s Girls

Tuesday 27th November 2018

Queen Anne’s School has embraced the iDEA, The Duke of York Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award.

The Duke of York Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award is an international programme that helps people to develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free, and enhances their chances in the job market.

The programme provides free digital skills education in the form of engaging online modules (badges). The iDEA curriculum
has been curated to help inspire people all over the world to become Digital Citizens, Workers, Makers, Entrepreneurs and Gamers to enhance their employability; and to help them become economically active.

Participants go through a variety of digital tasks earning badges online as they learn new skills.

As Queen Anne’s School has been involved early on, our girls have already achieved numerous Bronze badges over the last year.

We are particularly proud now to have received another envelope from Buckingham Palace with the new Silver Award. Isobel S (L6) and Amy I (L5) were amongst the first in the world to complete Silver Award.

Congratulations girls! Queen Anne’s is very proud of you leading the way in learning both essential and advanced digital skills.
