Isabella Selected As Ball Girl For The ATP World Tour Finals

Congratulations to U5 pupil, Isabella Bowater, who has been selected to be a ball girl for the ATP World Tour Finals. Isabella, who represents Queen Anne’s in the 1sts Tennis team, was chosen from over 200 other hopefuls to work at the final which takes place at the O2 in London in November.

To be in with a chance of being selected, Isabella was required to write a personal statement about herself and her sporting achievements and was then selected to to attend a trial in London where her ball skills, teamwork, and overall fitness levels were tested.

Speaking about the opportunity to attend the ATP World Finals, Isabella said,

“I watch the tour finals and Wimbledon every year so I am delighted to have been selected as a ball girl for the upcoming ATP World Tour Finals this November. It was so exciting to find out that I had been selected and I can’t wait to hopefully see my favourite player, Nadal, play as part of the Finals.”

The ATP World Tour Finals is a professional men’s tennis tournament which is held annually in November at the O2 Arena in London. First held in 1970, the ATP World Tour Finals are the season-ending championships of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour, featuring the top eight singles players and doubles teams of the ATP Rankings.
