Happy 124th birthday to Queen Anne’s School

Friday 11th May 2018

On Thursday 20 May, students and staff gathered to celebrate the school’s birthday and Ascension Day. Queen Anne’s School was founded on Ascension Day in 1894.

At 4.00pm, Reverend Rachel Ross Smith led an Ascension Day Service in Chapel, students and staff then joined together in the sunshine outside The Space for the official cutting of the birthday cake by Headmistress, Mrs Harrington. The memories created and shared here, amongst the years, are cherished by both students and staff. As with tradition, the youngest and oldest girls cut the birthday cake.

A special thank you to the wonderful catering team at Thomas Franks, who provided a tasteful birthday cake for us all to enjoy.
