Epic Music Challenge Raises over £500 for Children in Need

Monday 21st November 2016

On Friday 18 November, Camille Morana and Paloma Hamilton-Bowker joined their teacher and Deputy Head – Academic, Mark Richards in undertaking an epic challenge for Children in Need.

They listened too and at the same time, studied, Ludwig van Beethoven’s 9 symphonies for 6 hours starting at 6.30am. It was a great way for Queen Anne’s L6 music students to raise funds for a wonderful charity and the end result being that they completed a substantial part of their A level music curriculum.

They raised an amazing £532 for Children in Need and commented:

What a great, fun way to study.  We are delighted to have raised much more than anticipated!

A huge congratulations to the girls and Mr Richards and they would also like to thank everyone for their support for such a worthwhile cause.
