Dance Worksop with Rambert Dance Company

Thursday 15th November 2018

The GCSE and A Level dance students took part in a dance workshop with Rambert Dance company on Wednesday 31 October.

Rambert Dance Company is Britain’s oldest dance company, with performances dating back to 1926. It is now one of the world’s leading independent dance companies, with unparalleled reach to regional theatres throughout the UK.

Mikeala Poly, former rehearsal director of the company, delivered the workshop and taught pieces of repertoire from the company.

The girls learnt extracts from Ghost Dances and A Linha Curva, which they study for GCSE and A Level, and found it very valuable towards their learning and understanding of these pieces.
