Girls shine during dance performance at Henley Youth Festival

Wednesday 18th April 2018

Friday 16 March, was a busy day for the dance department. 20 students partook in the ISTD modern and tap exams, these range from grade 2 to intermediate and advanced one.

The girls enjoyed the exams and came out feeling happy and satisfied with their performances, the results of the exams will be available shortly after the Easter holidays.

After the exams were wrapped up nine of our senior dance company members went to the Kenton Theatre in Henley to perform during the Henley Youth Festival. This performance was choreographed by our very own dance Captain, Olivia S U6, Olivia’s dance piece was focused on space exploration. She planned the costumes, the schedule for rehearsals, which resulted in the Henley audience being captivated by a dance that was original, captivating and imaginative. Well done Olivia, this is a brilliant achievement. The dance company are currently working on their next performed Lift Off Dance Festival next month.
