U6 Students Enjoy 'A Night At The Circus'

Monday 30th June 2014

On the evening of Saturday 28 June, Upper Sixth students from Queen Anne’s School in Caversham enjoyed ‘A Night At The Circus’ to celebrate the end of their examinations and to say a farewell to the school. Students, parents and teachers from the school were invited along to the glittering ‘Big Top’ event held in a marquee on the school grounds.

Impressive stilt walkers charmed and greeted guests as they arrived at the Ball and during the event, a Photo Booth proved popular with students, parents and teachers alike as well as mind blowing tricks performed by the magician Michael J Fitch.

Head Girls Saskia Hamilton-Bowker and Nilofar Samadi gave a short farewell speech to the guests ending with “over and out from Nilly and Saskia” and following a delicious meal, parents and students all enjoyed a boogie on the dancefloor. The evening ended with pupils releasing Chinese wish lanterns into the night sky.
