The Wonderful Wizard of Queen Anne's…

Monday 29th June 2015

It’s official! Crossing your fingers for good luck does actually work!

Last week the whole of dramaramaland had their fingers crossed for good weather for our al fresco production of “The Wizard of Oz” and we were blessed with dry weather, with the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings being especially bright.

The show, preceded by games on the lawn and followed by a finger-lickin’ buffet, was a delight. The girls performing had such fun on stage and the audience were treated to an enchanting evening’s entertainment. A Punteresque “massive-smassive” well done to all involved.

Our next show will be the senior production of Steven Berkoff’s “Metamorphosis” in December; not one for the faint-hearted, the production promises to be a thought-provoking and powerful evening of intense drama.

Thank you to Mr Ian Chapman for taking the photographs.
