Sixth Form Drama Trip

Friday 4th March 2016

On Thursday 3 March, Queen Anne’s Sixth Form drama students participated in a drama trip to see “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time” at the Gielgud Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue,  in London.

Drama teachers, Mr Godfrey and Mrs Scott, alongside our Sixth Form drama pupils, all thoroughly enjoyed Simon Stephens’ dramatic adaptation of the National Theatre’s production of  Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel. Sion Daniel Young gave a mesmerising performance as the mathematically gifted boy with aspergers.

Aided by a gifted cast, plenty of physical theatre and sound and lighting effects that captured what was going on in Christopher’s unique mind, this powerful production will give the girls plenty to write about for their drama coursework!
