QA Pupil Enjoys Lead Acting Role

A Queen Anne’s pupil is currently enjoying a starring role in the spotlight as she takes on the lead role in a production of ‘Annie.’

Budding actress, Mackenzie Wilcox, L4, is currently appearing as Annie at The Elgvia Theatre in Chesham tonight (Thursday 5 February) and on Saturday 7 February at 7.30pm. Tickets are still available to purchase through The Elgvia Theatre’s box office.

‘Annie’ tells the story of a spunky, Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks and his personal secretary Grace Farrell.
