Little Shop of Hurrahs!

Tuesday 10th December 2013

Thunderous applause greeted the performers at each curtain call for ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ last week. The girls involved, both cast and crew, had worked tremendously hard in the run-up to the show. It was a great experience for the girls, all of whom had radio microphones, and the 5-piece band, made up of professional musicians, really topped things off.

There was a great sense of energy about the production and the performers all radiated a charming sense of joy during their performances.

The Drama department now looks forward to next term and a visit by professional fight director Mark Ruddick in January. The end of January brings us three performances of “Cinderella” by the L4s which is being directed by Mrs Galmiche. The main school production will be my own production of “Dr Faustus” with the L5/U5.
