From The Catwalk To Treading The Boards…

Former Queen Anne’s Drama Scholar Maddy Brudenell has landed a wonderful first role in her budding acting career since leaving the school a couple of years ago. Maddy will be playing the lead role in a fringe production of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play “Hedda Gabler” in Notting Hill Gate this summer.

Since leaving Queen Anne’s, Maddy, 19, is currently pursuing a career as a model and actress. She immediately landed a modelling job for Tatler magazine and was then offered more modelling work for the world famous Ralph Lauren label in Los Angeles. After completing a shoot, Maddy was then offered a second job with the label.

Maddy, who appeared in numerous dramaramaland productions during her time at Queen Anne’s, has now put her modelling work on hold for a while in order to concentrate on her acting and, judging by her success with “Hedda”, she has made a wise decision. Maddy is currently in rehearsal for the play in readiness for the performances in the summer.
