121st Birthday Celebrations At Queen Anne’s

Friday 15th May 2015

On Thursday 14 May, pupils and staff came together to celebrate the school’s birthday and Ascension Day. Queen Anne’s School was founded on Ascension Day in 1894.

At 3.00pm, Reverend Rachel Ross Smith led an Ascension Day Service in Chapel, which was then followed by the official cutting of the birthday cake by Mrs Harrington and the youngest and oldest pupil in the school.

The day ended with a celebration barbeque for the school following a fantastic inter-house Gym, Dance and Trampolining Competition – results coming soon!

Thank you to Thomas Franks, who provided a wonderful birthday cake for us all to enjoy.
