A Level Art Students Visit St Ives

Friday 2nd February 2018

On a cold and wintery January morning, 11 of the Queen Anne’s School A Level Art students left school to make their way to St Ives for a weekend of creativity and all things art, the 5 hour-train journey and weather didn’t dampen their spirits on this trip however.

The weekend consisted of working with local artists, making art on the beach, visiting the Tate St Ives and of course, eating lots of pasties and cream teas! The visit came at exactly the right time for the U6 students as they received their A Level examination paper after they returned to school. As the girls reflect on the trip we hop that St Ives has inspired them to continue to follow their passion for art.
