VISIT QUEEN ANNE’S OVERVIEW
The pupils and staff of Queen Anne’s would be delighted to welcome you and your family to our school. You are welcome to visit and tour the school on any of our Open Mornings. Headmistress, Mrs Harrington, is always happy to meet prospective parents during the week. Visiting Queen Anne’s is a great opportunity to get to know us better. Please be assured you will always receive a warm welcome.
Our Open Mornings are open to all prospective pupils and their families and are designed to give you a glimpse in to our community.
Tours begin from 9.30am and you will be given the opportunity to view the school through the eyes of our pupils, as they give you a guided tour of our facilities. You can ask your tour guide anything – our girls will always give an honest answer!
At 11.00am, join us for refreshments and listen to our Headmistress, Mrs Julia Harrington, talk about the core values of the school and what Queen Anne’s can offer your daughter.
The next Open Mornings will be held on:
- Saturday 15 September 2018 at 9.30am
- Friday 16 November 2018 at 9.30am
- Friday 8 March 2019 at 9:30am
- Saturday 11 May 2019 at 9:30am
TRY US OUT
We encourage all prospective pupils to experience at least one Taster Day and/or an overnight stay prior to joining Queen Anne’s. We find that by doing so the girls become familiar with the school and are more relaxed when they join us. Girls joining at 16+ are requested to pick a convenient date and join us on a normal school day.
11+ Taster Day Tuesday 18 September 2018
An opportunity for Year 5 girls looking to join in September 2019 to experience life at Queen Anne’s.
11+ & 13+ Boarding Taster Weekend Saturday 22 – Sunday 23 September 2018
An opportunity for girls looking to join in Year 7 or Year 9 in September 2019 to experience life as a boarder.
Whether your pupils enjoy mathematic puzzles or fancy trying Lacrosse for the first time, there is something for everyone to enjoy as part of the Queen Anne’s Junior School Events Programme.
Our 11+ and 13+ Assessment Day takes place in October, prior to Common Entrance in January. Girls will take a short English paper, complete online reasoning tests and will also be involved in a group interview. Fun activities also take place during the day.
