Queen Anne’s Food

The catering at Queen Anne’s College is run by Thomas Franks Ltd. Thomas Franks is dedicated to sourcing the best fresh, local, seasonal produce that is organic, free range, fair trade and GM free wherever possible. Pupils enjoy a range of balanced meals and fresh fruit is available throughout the day.

The kitchen prepares approximately 5000 meals on a weekly basis including breakfast, lunch, tea and supper. Students are offered a wide choice of hot and cold meals (including vegetarian options) made from fresh, good quality and where possible local ingredients, as well as a delicious salad bar.

The school’s restaurant, where the majority of meals are consumed, has light oak tables, bistro-style chairs and a light-wood floor, which create a fresh, modern environment in which to eat and chat with friends.

Every Boarding House also has its own kitchen in order to prepare snacks and drinks.

Based in the heart of the school, Cafe 6 is a dedicated high street-style cafe for Sixth Form and staff.  At weekends Cafe 6 opens its doors to parents, pupils and visitors to the school.  The Cafe offers a wide selection of fresh deli products, snacks and barista coffee.  Visitors to Cafe 6 can sit back and relax, watch the television or surf the net via Wi-Fi or the computer bar.
