Marketing and Communications Manager

The Role

Marketing and Communications is one of the key pillars that support every aspect of the school’s pupil recruitment process. To enable us to expand on our successful Marketing strategy, and working closely with the Admissions team, the successful candidate will lead and inspire a small team, engaging all parties within and outside the school environment.

Visiting Music Tutor

Harp and/or Double bass

Required for Immediate Start

The Role

This position would suit a professional or aspiring professional musician who will help raise the profile of the school through their work, locally, nationally, or internationally, with a range of specialist skills, who will pass on their enthusiasm and enjoyment of music, as well as help students with their coursework and projects.

The work of the tutor is specifically to identify the girls current levels of skills, to work to the standards required and to inspire all the girls to achieve the best that they can. All lessons are on an individual basis but in some cases work with other groups of girls and tutors is encouraged for more breadth of knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • develop excellence within their teaching and inspire the girls.
  • be committed to promoting Music as a subject across the whole school.
  • be instrumental in maintaining a happy and safe environment whilst stretching girls to their full potential.
  • be committed to a boarding and day school ethos.

Deputy Housemistress (maternity cover)


Required for April 2019

The Role

A Deputy Housemistress is sought to provide support to the Housemistress in a senior boarding house. The successful candidate will be fully committed to the aims and ideals of boarding school life and demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent levels of pastoral care.

This is a residential position and therefore accommodation is provided,

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience within a boarding school community or similar environment.
  • Have a real interest in the development and support that pastoral care offers.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, determination and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a responsible and pro-active attitude.

Flexibility, resilience and commitment to a residential boarding post are essential requirements.

Examination Invigilators

We are always interested to hear from applicants who are interested in joining our exam invigilation team for during examination periods. The invigilation team oversee the examination hall and provide access arrangements such as scribes and readers for pupils who require additional help and support.

Training is provided and so no previous experience is necessary.
