On Saturday 16 April, Queen Anne’s held their first-ever Colour Run to kick-off the start of the Trinity Term. The event was attended by boarders, and their families and friends, as part of the Closed Weekend activities.
Congratulations to one of our L4 pupils, Molly Skeil, who has gained a place at the Royal Academy of Music Saturday School. Molly will be studying trumpet, recorder and piano as part of the Junior Academy at the Royal Academy of Music, located in London. Well done to Molly on this fantastic achievement.
On Wednesday 20 April, Queen Anne’s held their inaugural ‘Mother and Daughter’ Evening to help raise money for the charity, Berkshire Women’s Aid.
During the afternoon, on Thursday 21 April, Queen Anne’s VOCES8 group travelled to London for their annual concert with the other Foundation schools at St Peter’s, Eaton Square.

As well as achieving superb drama success at this year’s Woodley Festival of Music and Arts, one of our L4 (Year 7) pupils is also celebrating winning musical awards at the Festival.
The Queen Anne’s Music department have once again enjoyed another action-packed Lent Term and as we look forward to the summer term, find out more about our girls’ spectacular performances at the “Night at the Musicals” event in February and their half-term music tour to Seville and Córdoba.
Over the weekend of the 18 – 20 March, fifty six Queen Anne’s girls braved the elements to complete their practice expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award in the beautiful and rolling Ashdown Forest in Sussex.
