U6 and L6 English Literature A level students will travel to London on Monday 26 November for a full day of lectures on Shakespeare’s Othello.
On the morning of Wednesday 19 September, the L5 drama class took a trip to the Shakespeare Festival workshop at the Wilde Theatre, at South Hill Arts Centre, Bracknell.
The English department have arranged to take L4s to Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday, 15 June 2018. The purpose of this ‘In the Footsteps of Shakespeare’ trip is to enhance our English curriculum and to provide valuable contextual background for the girls’ study of Shakespeare plays in forthcoming years.
On Thursday 29 September, Drama teachers Mr Godfrey and Mrs Scott took the U5 drama girls to the South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell.
