The Lower Five Biology students will be travelling to Marwell Zoo on Thursday 21 June as part of their ongoing scientific studies.
The English department have arranged to take L4s to Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday, 15 June 2018. The purpose of this ‘In the Footsteps of Shakespeare’ trip is to enhance our English curriculum and to provide valuable contextual background for the girls’ study of Shakespeare plays in forthcoming years.
On Thursday 7 June, the 4s will be travelling to Cheddar Gorge as part of the Geography experience.
The History department will be taking the U4 and L5 History students on a World War I Battlefields trip to key historical sites in both Belgium and France.
The GCSE and A Level Drama classes went to the Watermill Theatre, on Tuesday 22 May, to see the Watermill production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
50 Queen Anne’s girls once again displayed their resilience, team work and individual skills over two very tough Bronze Award DofE expeditions.
The L6 students will be travelling to Henley-on-Thames with The Oratory School as part of their Geography A level course. They will also have the chance to explore the River and Rowing Museum, where there will be an opportunity to examine artefacts from Henley’s history, which are not usually available to the public.
Girls set off for five days in Spain for Tennis and Swimming tour, where they learned were their skillsets were challenged, whilst also taking in Spanish Culture.
