The L6 students will be travelling to Henley-on-Thames with The Oratory School as part of their Geography A level course. They will also have the chance to explore the River and Rowing Museum, where there will be an opportunity to examine artefacts from Henley’s history, which are not usually available to the public.

On Saturday 24 February, after months of ballroom dancing lessons, the L6 were joined by The Oratory School and were able to showcase their new skills at the annual Ball. Read about the evening from the perspective of Abigail and Aoife in the L6.
Prefects, Lori and Fabie (U6) sat down and interviewed three girls, who are currently in the Lower Sixth, to talk about their views since joining the Sixth Form at Queen Anne’s. Caitlin, who is a boarder, Amelia, new to the school at the beginning of the academic year and Maya, a day girl, told their perspectives on Sixth Form life.
11 girls from across U5, L6 and U6 took the opportunity to attend a fascinating lecture at Eton College by Sir Anthony Milnes Coates BSc, FRCP, MD, FRCPath, Professor of Medical Microbiology at the Institute of Infection and Immunity, St George’s, University of London.
Essays need to be submitted electronically to Mr Mark Richards, Deputy Head – Academic by Friday 9 September 2016. This will be followed by a celebration dinner at Emanuel School on Thursday 1 December 2016.
