A showcase highlighting a collection of ‘work in progress’ from ISTD examination work (up to Advanced One Modern and Tap), Dance Company, GCSE and A Level dance.
The history department has been looking at the way in which things for women changed due to the impact of the First World War including the government granting some women the right to vote. Some of the girls made Votes for Women sashes, rosettes, posters and flags as part of our lessons.
GCSE Spanish Trip to Madrid, leaving on Friday 9 February and returning on Tuesday 13 February
Come and watch the student led production of ‘Noises Off’! This farcical comedy will take place on Wednesday 7 & Thursday 8 February at 7:30 pm.
On a cold and wintery January morning, 11 of the Queen Anne’s School A Level Art students left school to make their way to St Ives for a weekend of creativity and all things art, the 5 hour-train journey and weather didn’t dampen their spirits on this trip however.
On Thursday 1 February, Queen Anne’s will be hosting its annual Careers, Universities and
Gap fair. The evening will run from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and is a fantastic opportunity for
students from U4 to U6, together with parents, to start to consider the career path or
university that they might wish to follow or consider in the future.
On Friday 26 January our U4 girls came together, in aid of Holocaust Memorial Day, to watch a live webcast from Holocaust survivor, Janine Webber.
On Monday 22 January and Tuesday 23 January you are invited to come and watch Queen Anne’s Lower 4 girls perform stories so well-loved, you already know them by heart. We hope that our version of events will be both familiar and surprising.
On Saturday 11 January we saw a closed weekend where our boarders were able to enjoy a fantastic day of cultural delights with workshops on Chinese lion dancing, Bollywood dance, African drumming, origami, World cuisine and World music.
On Friday 12 January the U4 were visited by QAS Society Members for an interactive ‘World of Work’ day. This gave our current girls the opportunity to talk about their career aspirations with girls who have already walked in their footsteps.
