Queen Anne’s School is exceptionally proud of their outgoing Upper 6 (Year 13) students who have achieved excellent results, including a 5% increase in A* compared to 2019, the last pre-covid benchmark, with 88% A*-C grades and 49% A*-A. Almost all students have secured places at their first choice of university, with an excellent range including Cambridge, Durham, Bristol, UCL, Cardiff, London School of Economics and many more Russell Group universities. Queen Anne’s School is also delighted to be celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results this year. With 24% of grades at the top grade 9, a 7% increase from 2019, and 45% of grades at grade 9-8, an 11% increase on 2019, the Upper 5 (Year 11) students performed magnificently.
In English and Maths, Queen Anne’s students proved their high performances with over 25% of grades in Maths awarded a 9. Students at Queen Anne’s also have the opportunity to take Further Maths (Level 2) with 100% pass rate, including 75% receiving 9-8 grades. Tracking and Monitoring
A holistic tracking and monitoring process is used at Queen Anne’s to ensure that all girls are fully supported and stretched academically to help them achieve their full potential.
We are known for our exceptional 'value added' with students achieving on average, 0.7 grades better than expected at GCSE and 0.3 grades better than expected at A Level (using the Alis test).

All students take test set and evaluated by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM). These tests – MIDYIS (Yr 7, 8, 9), YELLIS (Yr10) and ALIS (Yr12) - are used to predict girls’ performance at GCSE and A Level in each subject. These predictions are then compared with actual GCSE and A Level grades achieved by the students to determine the Value Added at Queen Anne’s.
