Our School

We have a ‘no limits’ approach to the girls’ learning and development that produces excellent academic results and outstanding achievements in every field.

We want all our pupils to attain outstanding academic results and the personal confidence and self-belief to enable them to be successful individuals at every stage of their lives.  We are  therefore committed to providing an environment in which every girl will be encouraged and supported, while developing the learning skills and curiosity she will need to be able to set and reach her goals.   We want the girls to discover their passions and achieve in all areas including sport, music, drama and the arts, while being empowered to contribute to the lives of others, making an active and positive difference to the world around them.

We teach in small classes where each individual can explore the learning culture in a supportive environment while being challenged and stimulated by group discussion and debate.   Homework is designed to consolidate and revisit work outside the classroom, driving independent study and thinking skills.  Teaching is carried out in all subjects – from drama to science – in a community that encourages pupils to develop a system of spiritual beliefs and a moral code, as well as developing personally, socially and culturally.
