Lower sixth ball
The Oratory and Shiplake School ballroom dancing groups joined Queen Anne's Lower Sixth on Friday 2 February for their annual ball.
Girls spent the afternoon transforming the main sports hall in the Morgan Sports Centre for the occasion before receiving some pampering themselves from Mobile Beauty.
With ballroom dancing high on the list of club activities for many of the sixth formers, the evening not surprisingly featured some classic dance moves, including the cha cha, social foxtrot, the waltz and the jive.
Mrs Julia Harrington, Headmistress, said: “It was a fantastic evening. Everybody really enjoyed themselves and I was extremely impressed by the girls' - and their partners' - dancing skills!”
