Queen Anne’s student one of top 5 in UK for physics GCSE

Special congratulations go to Alison Wilson who gained 11 A*s and achieved one of the top 5 scores in the UK for physics.

The overall standard of GCSE results this year is again is extremely high, producing 69% A* and A grades and setting a new record of 92% A* to B grades. Biology, chemistry, art, music, drama, Latin and German produced 100% A* to B grades, English and English Literature achieved 96% and 98% and maths gained 96%. 22% of students gained straight A*s and As.

Mrs Harrington, Headmistress, said “I am delighted with the results and congratulate the girls for their hard work”.
