Queen Anne’s Music News

Monday 29th January 2018

Congratulations to Serena (U4) on being offered a place to perform with the National Youth Music Theatre for 2018. This is a very prestigious award and will involve Serena working with many professional actors and musicians in the world of Musical Theatre. Well done Serena!

On Friday 26 January it was a great privilege to be able to attend the National Holocaust Memorial Ceremony at the Imperial War Museum, and especially to hear Camille (U6) perform as solo violinist accompanied beautifully by Anita D’Attellis. Camille performed Albinoni’s Adagio, Spiegel im Spiegel by Arvo Pärt and Remembrances by John Williams. Her performance of Spiegel im Spiegel followed a moving Testimonial by Holocaust Survivor Mr John Dobai and had the room spellbound as the music flowed around the audience. A great honour for Queen Anne’s to be involved and thank you Camille and Anita for your stunning performances.
