We’re So Proud of “Pride” Premiere
Thursday 14th March 2013
Mrs Galmiche’s much-talked about middle production of “Pride and Prejudice” premiered on Wednesday afternoon to an audience of about a hundred lucky youngsters from our local prep schools. Young audiences are notoriously “honest” in their response to a live theatre performance but not a cough or a fidget was heard or seen all afternoon.
Girls in the L5 and U5 have been working on their production since the dark snowy days of early January and it’s fitting to see their performances blossom as the daffodils and spring flowers burst into bloom. Head of Drama Mr Punter said “the girls have worked really hard on this and their show really brought a massive smile to everyone’s face. Mind you, my smile will continue for many months if Wales beat England on Saturday!….”
The play, which runs for just over an hour, is on in the Performing Arts Centre at 7.30 until Saturday 16 March 2013.
