Tycoon in Schools

Monday 11th November 2013

Congratulations to our U4 (Year 9) students who have successfully received funding from the ‘Tycoon In Schools’ initiative.

‘Tycoon in Schools’ gives students an opportunity to experience running a real life business whilst at school.  The two companies ‘Mad Hatters’ and ‘Back to Vintage’ began trading their products last week and will continue to trade until 29 November.  Browse their range below and order your Christmas gifts now!

Mad Hatters & Co.

Mad HattersWe are a company created by girls passionate to improve people’s lives. Mad Hatters was created to help raise money for charities that will help people battling cancer.

Our hats, beanies and tie dye t-shirts are all customised and excellent quality. As newly fledged business we aim only to provide you with amazing quality products, and a feeling of joy, because all of our profit goes to charity. The charities we support are Tutu Desks and Sue Ryder Care. These are both very deserving charities and are very close to our hearts.

BUY NOW: Hats/beanies are priced at £6 (£5 for Queen Anne’s pupils) and tie dye t-shirts are priced at £8 (£7 for Queen Anne’s pupils).

Back to Vintage

Back into VintageWe have created an eco-friendly, up-cycling business to offer vintage artwork and retro practical products to a wide range of customers. Our aims are to make our products affordable but also to make a large profit from sales. We will then use that profit to help the business grow and introduce more products and increase our customer base.  We also would like to donate money to the charity Tutu Desks.

The products are vintage framed vinyl record sleeves and fruit bowls made from moulded records. These are bespoke, affordable gifts and home decorations that can be personalised to suit anyone.

BUY NOW: Framed records sleeves  are priced at £15 (prices may vary for rare albums) and fruit bowls are priced at £3 (small) and £5 (large).
