Top GCSE Results for Queen Anne's Pupils

Top Marks in English, Latin and the Sciences

80% of grades A*/A

Pupils at Queen Anne’s School in Caversham are celebrating another year of top results.  80% of grades in English, Latin and the Sciences were A* and A.  In Drama, English Literature and Geography 95% of grades achieved were A*-B and in Art and History over 80% were A*-B grades.

Commenting on the GCSE results, Mrs Julia Harrington, Headmistress at the all-girls’ independent boarding and day school said:

‘We are celebrating another fantastic year of GCSE results.  The girls have worked exceptionally hard to obtain top marks which will provide them with the perfect springboard to commence their A Level studies in September.’

The breakdown of Queen Anne’s School’s GCSE results is as follows:

  • A* / A   60%
  • A* – B  87%
  • A* – C  97%
  • Pass    100%

Mrs Harrington continues:

“Not only have the pupils excelled academically but they have done so while pursuing a wide range of interesting and character building interests alongside their academic studies.”

The pupils will collect their results at 10am.  Individual stories will follow throughout the course of the day, so keep checking back!
