Sixth Form Sporting Success
Friday 27th November 2015
This November, three of our Sixth Form students have achieved sporting success in rowing, swimming and cross-country.
- Great Britain Junior Rower, Sheyi Blackett, finished 3rd out of 89 girls in the first of four trial assessments for next year’s World Junior Rowing Championships in Rotterdam.
- In the pool, Shannon Motha set a personal best in the 50m backstroke (29.5secs), qualifying her for the Winter Nationals in Sheffield next term.
- U6 student, Lauren Church, came 4th in the U20 Berks, Bucks and Oxon Cross Country Championships last weekend, running in a gale force wind.
Congratulations to this talented trio!
