Swimming & Lacrosse

Harriet Seaton swam at the South East Regionals in Crawley last weekend, competing in the 100m and 200m backstroke, performing exceptionally.

Last week there was lacrosse news as the following girls found out that they have a trial for the England National Academy in July. The National Academy is the final step before representing England at U19 level. This is a huge achievement for the girls and we look forward to hearing how they get on.

Athletics Selection Meets

A raft of girls trialed at the selection meets this week for their opportunity to represent Reading at the County Track and Field Championships in June. Several girls achieved season’s personal bests with Amelia Hanson jumping 4m 40 in long jump, Bella Cooper jumping 1m 50cm in high jump and Jaz Veitch running the 1500m in 5m 38seconds.

Inter House Gym, Dance & Trampoline Competition

Friday afternoon saw a dazzling display of gymnastic, dance and trampoline skill, grace, and power. There are many more photos to come and several videos of performances.

Tennis

There were two tennis matches. Unfortunately, due to the rain on Wednesday several matches had to be postponed until after half term.

U12A vs The Holt – Won 7 – 6

U15B vs Leighton Park – Won 10 – 2
