A round up of the latest Sports News from Queen Anne’s in the week commencing 27 February.

Netball

As well as the IAPS schools netball tournament here at QA this week with 38 prep schools involved, Queen Anne’s girls have also been busy on the netball courts with matches against The Marist, Shiplake and Cranford House.

U18s Vs Shiplake

U15s Vs The Marist
U15As won 27-14
U15 Bs won 17-7

U13s Vs Cranford House
U13As won 5-2
U13Bs won 13-4
U13Cs won 10-0

U12s Vs Cranford House
U12As won 8-4
U12Bs won 11-2
U12Cs won 13-1

Swimming

The Junior swim teams took on Newlands school this week with great success. The U14s won 78 points to 66 and the U13s won 84 points to 64.

Goring 10k Run

Congratulations to Britta Anderson and Charlotte Stanton who came 1st and 3rd in the juniors section of the Goring 10k run respectively.

Lacrosse Selection

Abi Sloman and Alex Griffin have been selected by London South Talent Pathway Academy to represent the U18 Greater London Team, in the Regional Lacrosse Tournament at Nottingham Trent University in April.

It has been a successful few days for girls competing in dance and tennis. The dance squad made their way to The O2 to perform in the finals of a competition and the U13 tennis team performed fantastically at the Independent Schools Tennis Tournament
