Queen Anne’s Earns the Incorporated Society of Musicians Gold Certificate
Friday 21st April 2017
We are delighted to announce that Queen Anne’s has again been awarded the ISM Trust Gold Certificate in Music.
The Gold certificate is awarded by the Incorporated Society of Musicians to schools in recognition of the entries and attainment in GCSE music across the stage 4 cohort. It was once again another excellent year for music results at Queen Anne’s and we hope to obtain the same award next year.
More than 20% of the overall Key Stage 4 cohort achieved an A*-C in GCSE music, putting Queen Anne’s in the top 76 schools across England.
Principal Director of Music, Mr John Padley commented:
This is another fantastic achievement for Music at Queen Anne’s and reflects the dedication of our girls towards their musical exploits. It is also symbolic of the music that we create at the school and the hard work put in by everyone associated with the department.
