Nail Biting Stuff in the Pool

The Queen Anne’s swimming pool was full of supporters and great swimmers who witnessed and produced a terrific gala between two very determined schools, Queen Anne’s and Downe House. Mr Blunt has never seen so many close finishes with both sets of girls straining every last sinew to touch the wall first.

U13 Report

The U13’s enjoyed a really entertaining gala against Downe House. There was some superb swimming on display from both schools and after the closest of finishes, the Queen Anne’s girls came out on top. Mr Blunt would like to pay tribute to the whole squad for their togetherness and skill. Huge congratulations go to Georgina Lewis, Harriet Seaton, Louisa Haycock, Charlotte Goforth, Georgina Woodall, Scarlett Rijkse, Amelie Colls and team captain Olive Richards.

U15 Report

The U15 enjoyed a very exciting gala against Downe House. It proved to be a very impressive collective effort from the girls with everyone making a superb contribution. Determination, passion and great swimming strokes were aplenty and it was Downe House who eventually ran out winners, as they pipped Queen Anne’s girls to the post by one point. Mr Blunt can’t say enough about the girls commitment and team spirit. Zoe Campbell, Lucy Goudge, Amy McCall, Jasmine Booth, Molly Renders, Melissa Scanlon, Evie Harris and inspirational leader Amber Richards could not have given more for the school.
