L4 Religious Studies Project
Wednesday 20th March 2013
This term the L4s have been reading swathes of the Book of Genesis with an eye to tracing the developing revelation of God to the Israelite people. We spent time considering the harsh call to Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, and the outcome of that, exploring Abraham’s struggle, his obedience and his greater insights into God at the end.
Romilly Hayward produced a diary entry, its parchmented pages bound in a handmade crafted leather cover, written in the voice of the old man Abraham, at the end of his life, now full of years.
