On Tuesday 24 January, renowned pianist, Julian Saphir gave a music workshop and Piano Recital at Queen Anne’s School.
Julian gave the Queen Anne’s piano students some wonderful and informative insights during an hour and a half workshop which allowed girls at all levels to take part and benefit from his vast experience.
Julian then performed an evening recital in the old school hall, which attracted an audience of over 120, who were treated to a dazzling programme of works from Beethoven to Tan Dun which clearly displayed Julian’s sheer musicianship and talent as one of the leading pianists in Europe.
We very much hope that Julian will return in the future as we have been so fortunate in being able to host him at Queen Anne’s.
