Jam-Packed Experience At PGL

Friday 23rd September 2016

After only three days at Queen Anne’s, our new L4 pupils were whisked off on their PGL trip to Windmill Hill, Hailsham for two nights from Monday 12 until Wednesday 14 September.

The sun constantly shone for the trip and the girls had an incredible three days where they were able to take part in a variety of fun-filled activities, which enabled them to perfect their team work skills and ultimately make friends for life! The highlight of the three days was by far the giant swing followed closely by a refreshing dip in the lake during raft building. Our two PGL team leaders, Shona and Louie, made the trip extra special for the girls and they led both a campfire and disco on both evenings, which they all thoroughly enjoyed!

I do hope you all take pleasure in seeing all the pictures from our trip and I look forward to seeing them continue to bond as a year group throughout their time here at Queen Anne’s.

Here are a few PGL quotes from members of the L4:

“I loved PGL, it was a jam-packed experience that I will never forget.”

“I loved the giant swing because it went so high and then dropped when you pulled the rope, it was such a shock!”

“All Aboard was really scary but very fun. I liked that the two girls I was with were really supportive and helped me get to the top.”

“I really want to go on PGL again!”

“I really enjoyed PGL because we got to know and bond with the other girls”

“The disco was so much fun on the last night, we got to dance around with all our new friends”
