Dramatic Success for Leavers Old and New
Friday 22nd August 2014
Since departing the shores of dramaramaland, a number of Queen Anne’s recent leavers have met with great success in the wider world of drama over the summer.
Tiajna Izekor-Amayo passed her gold medal LAMDA examination with distinction and, in doing so, she recorded one of the highest ever marks to be awarded to a Queen Anne’s girl! Tiajna leaves Queen Anne’s to work and train with the “Fourth Monkey” theatre company in London.
Former Sixth Form drama scholar Megan Greeves, who left Queen Anne’s in 2009, has graduated from Leeds University with an excellent degree in Theatre and Performance and has now been offered a place at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London to study for a post-graduate qualification in Acting. Megan has already made her acting debut by appearing in episodes of “EastEnders”.
Former Head Girl Jessica Webber, a 2011 leaver, has now completed her Acting training on the Foundation course at RADA and has now been offered a place to study on the three year Acting course at the Drama Centre London, based in Kings Cross, London.
Our good wishes follow all our former dramanauts and we look forward to watching their progress with excitement and anticipation!
