Alice in Dramaramaland!

Monday 27th March 2017

“Curiouser and curiouser” are Alice’s famous lines in Lewis Caroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and Queen Anne’s production of “Scenes from Alice”, adapted from Lewis Caroll’s novels by Head of Drama Rhodri Punter boast a very curious connection between Alice and the school: sixth former Susie Liddell is a direct relative of Alice Liddell, the girl upon whom Alice in “Alice in Wonderland” and “Alice Through the Looking Glass” is based.

The show, “Ten Scenes from Alice”,  ran for three night’s in the Performing Arts Centre last week and Dr Bellamy, Director of Sixth Form, described the show as “many colourfully captivating moments; wonderful!”
