Giftedness can be as worrying and frustrating as it is joyful and exciting – for pupils, their teachers and their parents. This conference covers a number of issues to consider when working with able girls: from self-esteem to perfectionism, from potential to performance. A range of practical teaching strategies will be discussed, covering the age group 11-18; there will also be opportunities for group discussion and the sharing of ideas.
