Upper 5 End of Year Supper

Thursday 4th July 2013

On Monday 1st July, the Queen Anne’s U5 hosted their own dinner in the brightly decorated Forum as a celebration of the conclusion of their GCSE’s and the years that they have spent together at Queen Anne’s.

Organised by the Year Representatives and the Head of U5, Mr Bushby, the evening started with drinks and canapés on the balcony while Olivia Leach used her photography skills to take photographs of each of the houses. A delicious main course that had been picked by the students themselves soon followed.

The highlight of the evening was a video made by Lydia Marshall that fantastically encompassed the fun and enjoyment that the U5’s have experienced during their time at Queen Anne’s, although this was much to the embarrassment of some members of the Year Group.

The evening then ended with a warming dessert and a light-hearted quiz of the student’s baby photos, which sparked much debate as to who was which baby.

Overall, the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and successfully celebrated all that the U5’s have achieved and contributed to the school.
