Students Get Creative With Halloween

Wednesday 5th November 2014

On Wednesday 22 October, before the half-term break, students from each of the houses came together to create the scariest and creative Halloween costumes they could, using a certain amount of materials.

The task required them to use their imagination and art skills and also their team working skills. Each house was given some black bin bags, coloured paper, string, glue, sellotape and face paint and were asked to design two outfits for a member of their house to model. They only had 15 minutes to design their costumes so it was a race against time!

At the end of the 15 minutes, the houses had produced very impressive outfits ranging from bats to witches. The girls had great fun with this challenge and it was a shame that the costumes and the face paint had to be removed before the afternoon’s lessons.
